The National Anthem temple

Temples are visited by millions of people in India. Those people include engineers, lawyers, beggars, policemen, thieves, kidnappers, murderers, rapists etc. The general view seems to be that one can do what ever they want to in their life and come to the temple and pray to god to wash away his sins and give him all that he wants.

A similar thing is happening with the National Anthem in India. With certain theaters playing the National Anthem and some sections of the audience taking it onto themselves to discipline people & forcing people to pay attention and stand up. These are the same people who throw trash on the roads, fail to follow traffic rules, bribe cops when caught, lack empathy for fellow Indians and abuse our systems as much as they can outside. Yet, all their I care a damn attitude towards the systems of our country is supposedly redeemed by standing up for the national anthem and in enforcing other people to follow.

If people showed even 10% of that emotion outside in their real life, we would be a better country already.
