It is time we meant our true nationalism

We are OK with electing corrupt politicians.

We are OK with giving bribe to police.

We are OK with throwing trash on the road.

We are OK with not obeying rules on the road.

We are OK with dowry as common practice.

We are OK with woman eve teasing as common occurrence.

We are OK with money for vote during elections.

Let us outrage at all these everyday. Its high time. Let us stop making nationalism merely an argument we use. Let us stop making nationalism something we remember when India play Pakistan. Let us stop making nationalism what we remember when our anthem is played or our flag is hoisted.

Nationalism means loving our country and working towards making it a better place to live in and removing the atrocities that are present in it. Yes, get agitated that there are people shouting anti national statements but lets not forget our constitution and rule of law. Lets not behave in a barbaric manner and forget we live in civilized society where a person is innocent until found guilty.

Let us fight for right to freedom, right to life, right to equality, right against exploitation, right to education, right to freedom of religion, right to constitutional remedies and right to cultural and education rights.
